MOSHI WOMEN MAKE A CHANGE

Moshi Women Make a Change, is the project for the local group of women which will be engaged in vocational skills training to the girls, out of street as a strategy to alleviate poverty in PASUA among women and community at large. The project will be mainly based on training women/girls around the street in Moshi on tailoring skills providing them with tailoring equipment/machine and fabric materials. As the training continue, they will be making different African cultural bags, dresses and other products of the same nature which will be sold at the Moshi Kids Center and at Zara Charity Shop.

A year ago, we had a meeting with local people around Moshi in Moshi Kids centre where we met several highly motivated and courageous women who were willing to take part in this training. Therefore three women were chosen for the training in this year of 2024.

Our first group of women will spend three months training at our center. After these three months, it will be the turn of a new group of another three women. Our aim is to train 12 women over the course of a year. So four sessions of three women each.

Special thanks to Wendy group for the donation of four sewing machine, we would like to express our deepest gratitude for your unselfish contribution to our center in Moshi. Your donation is very important to us; it helps the continuity of our commitment to serving the community.
