  SUCCESSFUL SPONSORSHIP OF STUDENTS TO PRIMARY SCHOOL Primary and Secondary School education in Tanzania is theoretically free, there are many additional costs that prevent students from low-income families attending school. Many of the families in Tanzania cannot afford school uniforms, books, school meals or even transportation. Their financial situation causes them to start their education late and in many cases drop out early. Not finishing their formal education leaves them with very limited career options. In this year, Zara Tanzania Charity Schools is dedicated to changing this narrative, offering these children a chance to access primary education. We had seven children to sponsor to primary school.
